Jakarta, March 25, 2024-Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) reported that they had just won the Home Component Level (TKDN) certificate for various vehicle models.
As a step forward in maintaining the inland car industry, Hino received an additional TKDN certificate for three major vehicle models: Hino 500-FM 280 JW, Hino 300-115 HD, and Hino 300136 HDL.
The TKDN certification process is part of Hino’s efforts to highlight the commitment to support the Indonesian government to encourage the use of local products.
With significant TKDN value, reaching 47.2% to 57.26%, Hino vehicles are shown to have a major contribution to the development of the domestic car industry.
The total number of hin vehicles that have received a TKDN certificate becomes 13 vehicle models, covering various types such as Hino 300, Hino 500, and Hino Bus.
The strict certification process through local audit, documents and panels resulting from the audit of the Indonesian Ministry of Industry emphasized the seriousness of Hino to meet high standards in local production.
Sertifikat TKDN ini juga membuka peluang baru bagi Hino untuk mendapatkan dukungan dari anggaran pemerintah, baik dari APBN dan APBD.
With proven local product status, Hino hopes that priority can be given in buying government agencies, which brings greater economic benefits to the domestic car industry.
“Not just vehicles, Hino is the first to have a sales service issued in the LKPP catalog. This continues the contribution of Hino, which was made in Indonesia, for the progress of Indonesia,” said HMSI official and director of HMSI, Saint Wardayo.
